HOW TO ADD BALANCE AND ENERGY TO YOUR LIFE

 

EATING

  • Regular meals with recommended balance of carbohydrates, proteins, fruits, and veggies.
  • Take multivitamin every morning
  • Limit sugar & caffeine intake
  • No alcohol or other substances

 

SLEEPING

  • Regular sleep/wake cycle
  • Develop a ritual before bedtime
  • Practice relaxation and other sleep strategies

 

ACTIVITY

  • Go outside everyday  
  • Exercise aerobically at least once per week for 20+ minutes  
  • Do "something fun" for yourself at least once per week

 

RELAXATION

  • Practice relaxation techniques such as abdominal breathing when feeling tense or upset until you feel better
